Does my car qualify for a Vehicle Service Contract?
Most vehicles under 20 years old with fewer than 200,000 miles qualify, as long as they’re in original condition. Our team can quickly confirm your eligibility.
Do I really need an vehicle service contract (auto protection plan)?
Even the most reliable vehicles can develop mechanical issues over time, and modern repairs can be costly. An extended auto warranty helps protect you from unexpected expenses after your manufacturer’s coverage ends. When a covered repair is needed, you typically pay a small deductible while the plan covers the rest.
In many cases, one major repair can offset the cost of the warranty. Plus, a transferable plan may boost your vehicle’s resale value and provide added peace of mind as your car ages.
Do I need an Extended Auto Warranty if I am still covered by the manufacturer?
Manufacturer warranties provide coverage for a limited period, and many vehicle owners choose to explore vehicle service contract options after that coverage expires. Depending on the plan selected, a vehicle service contract may help with the cost of certain covered mechanical repairs and replacement parts. Some plans may also be transferable to a subsequent owner, which could make the vehicle more appealing to potential buyers.
Coverage options and pricing can vary based on your vehicle's age, mileage, and condition. Purchasing coverage before your manufacturer's warranty expires may provide access to additional plan options. America's Auto Service can help you review available vehicle service contract plans and find coverage that fits your needs. Terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions apply.
What is an extended auto warranty, also known as a auto protection plan?
Even well-maintained vehicles may experience mechanical breakdowns over time, and modern vehicle repairs can be costly. A vehicle service contract can help reduce out-of-pocket expenses for certain covered repairs after your manufacturer's warranty expires. Coverage options are available through reputable providers and may include major vehicle components, subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the selected plan.
Depending on your vehicle and coverage level, a service contract may provide added convenience and confidence when unexpected repair needs arise. Some plans may also be transferable to a subsequent owner, which could enhance your vehicle's appeal at resale. Contact America's Auto Service today to learn more about available coverage options and request a personalized quote.
What is covered under my plan?
America's Auto Service offers vehicle service contract plans that may include benefits such as coverage for certain repair costs, roadside assistance, towing reimbursement, and maintenance-related discounts, depending on the plan selected. Available benefits, coverage levels, and eligibility requirements vary by vehicle and contract. Coverage options are designed to accommodate a wide range of vehicles, including many models up to 20 years old or with up to 200,000 miles, subject to provider approval and plan availability. Can I transfer my service contract to another person if I sell my vehicle?
Coverage options and pricing are based on factors such as your vehicle's age, mileage, make, model, and eligibility requirements. Because every vehicle is different, plan recommendations and available benefits may vary. America's Auto Service works with customers to help identify coverage options that align with their vehicle and budget. Discounts may be available for households enrolling more than one eligible vehicle. Terms, conditions, limitations, exclusions, and eligibility requirements apply.
What are my responsibilities to ensure the coverage stays valid?
To remain eligible for contract benefits, customers may be required to follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule and maintain records of completed services. Claims are subject to the terms of the contract, including any applicable waiting periods, coverage limitations, and eligibility requirements. Coverage does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or other excluded conditions as outlined in the contract. Please review your contract for complete details, terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions.
What is the process to decide if a claim will be paid?
If your vehicle experiences a mechanical breakdown, review your contract documents to determine whether the affected component may be eligible for coverage under your selected plan. If you have questions about your contract, please contact our customer service team at (800) 273-5638. A licensed repair facility can diagnose the issue and, if applicable, submit a claim for review. All claims are subject to contract terms, conditions, limitations, exclusions, and the administrator's approval process.
Is it possible for me to make multiple payments?
Yes, contact Payment Processing at (800) 273-5638, and we will assist you in arranging multiple payments for your account.
Is it mandatory for me to opt-in for automatic monthly payments?
To make sure that the coverage remains active in case of breakdowns, contracts are usually set up for automatic monthly payments.
Is it possible for me to skip a payment?
Skipping a payment is generally not allowed under the contract to ensure that the coverage remains active in case of breakdowns. But under our term policies we allow 2 deferrals within a 24 month span but they have to be 6 months apart.
Is it possible to alter my due date for payments?
If you are current on payments, we can change your due date. Contact Payment Processing at (800) 273-5638, and they will assist you.
